I had the opportunity to film at Falling Water for Kara and Alex’s wedding. This venue was absolutely perfect for them. The natural setting provided the perfect scenery for the ceremony they had planned. There were so many unique and gorgeous backdrops surrounding the barn. Additionally, the planning team made time for Kara and Alex to have some portraits (and video) done at the Falling Water site itself.

Falling Water is often regarded as one of the most beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Situated directly over a beautiful waterfall over Bear Run, it’s the ultimate example of uniting architecture with nature. Since 1963, the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has as preserved and managed both Falling Water and the Bear Run Valley, making it a pristinely untouched portion of the Pennsylvania wilderness.
Falling Water offers several spaces for weddings at events at their Barn at Falling Water. The Barn itself is a historic bank barn that has been converted to a venue space. Above the barn is a small amphitheater, with natural wood bench seating and a natural wood canopy/arch on an elevated platform.
Additionally, there is a fireplace room and a courtyard that can also be used for weddings.
