When we first started talking to Taylor and Clayton about their wedding video, they were still looking for the perfect venue to fit the feel they had in mind for their wedding day. We were thrilled when they decided on the Highgate Carriage House in our hometown: Fairmont WV.
The Carriage House is a part of a historic estate that covers a full city block. The Tudor style home and carriage house were once home to one of the coal baron millionaires. Now, the beautifully restored Carriage House and grounds are available as event space.
When Clayton planned his proposal to Taylor, he was thoughtful enough to record the whole thing. It was a real treat for us to not just hear about their engagement story, but to be able to watch the whole thing on Taylor’s YouTube channel as well!
