Chestnut Ridge Church in Morgantown, WV is intentional about a lot of things. Not the least of which is their Christmas teaching series that culminates on Christmas Eve.
This year’s series was titled “Christmas Conspiracy: The Scarlet Thread”, and they needed a provocative, attention-getting teaser video to show in the weekend services leading up to the launch of the series.
After kicking around several location ideas, we landed on this really cool space in marion county; the old jail building that is now part of the Historical Society. They were nice enough to give us access to a wing of the jail that is closed to the public, and maintained its old, broken-down appearance.
We love things that contrast and create tension, and this was the perfect location for this teaser film.
