We were so blessed this year to have several winter weddings, and I’m pretty sure winter is my new favorite wedding season!

A January Greenbrier Wedding
This January, we joined Mary + Austin and their friends and families for their wedding at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs WV.
Mary + Austin were high school sweethearts, and the minute you see them together, it’s clear they were meant to be together. They were so sweet to each other all day, and exchanged the most thoughtful gifts at their first look.
Austin and his groomsmen spent the morning bowling, before grabbing lunch and heading back to the one of the Legacy Cottages to get dressed for the day.
Mary and the bridesmaids (plus her mom and a few other family members) spent the day getting ready in the Princess Grace Parlor. It’s conveniently located so the girls could peek out to the preparations in the Cameo ballroom before putting on their dresses and final touches.
Mary and her dad enjoyed a few moments together in the North Parlor, so he could see Mary’s dress and she could give him a gift; a custom leather portfolio.
Prior to the ceremony, Mary + Austin had a first look and gift exchange in the Spring Room, before leaving for the chapel.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in the Trellis Room before heading to the reception in the Cameo Ballroom. Gillespie’s decorated the room with stunning florals and decor, and everyone danced the night away to Gentlemen and Their Lady.
