One of the questions we always ask our couples when we meet while planning their wedding film is “why did you choose your venue”.
Kaycee and Michael chose Stonewall Resort for their wedding because they wanted somewhere that everyone from their wedding could check-in, enjoy, and have a great weekend. They also took into consideration that with a February wedding in West Virginia, we could end up with a LOT of snow, so they wanted a location that is easily accessible from main roads that are kept clear. These kinds of practical planning details aren’t romantic to think about, but they’re a super important part of a good wedding plan.
Kaycee and Michael planned well, and got exactly what they wanted: a weekend full of fun and togetherness!
Though the snow never came, it was plenty chilly, making the fur wraps for the bridal party the perfect accessory for outdoor portraits. And when you don’t have natural snow…you make some snow magic with Amberlee Christey Photography!
