One of the things I’m most excited to jump into this year (now that I’m officially full time with MotionWorks) is connected more with my creative friends. Working from home (or even your solitary studio) can feel very isolating. To combat this, I’m offering a new coworking opportunity for creatives.
Motivation Monday – A Coworking Event
Starting January 29, every Monday from 9am-2pm we’ll open up Studio 206 to anyone who wants to stop by and get some work done. We’ve got screaming fast wifi, and I plan to start each week off strong by scheduling out my social media, catching up on all the weekend email, launching new projects, and fine-tuning some details on others. This is also a great time to get some feedback on projects that you’re currently working on, bounce new ideas off of others, and get advice on marketing and website stuff that we’re ALL constantly working on. It’s free (though there will be a coffee and pastry fund that you’re welcome to donate to).
Studio 206 is located in downtown Fairmont WV. You will need to pay to park during business hours. You can find a parking map on the City of Fairmont website, we generally recommend parking on Monroe St or in the parking garage. If you park on the street, you can use the Passport Parking app to pay for your parking. There are several really great restaurants within walking distance so you can pick up a treat on your way in, or step out for lunch when you get hungry.
I’m really looking forward to spending time with old friends and making some new ones along the way, and I hope to see you some Monday soon! If you have any questions or need more details, be sure to leave a comment and I’ll get back with you!
