We recently had the opportunity to work with Images by Amber Robinson on a short promo film.

Amber isn’t kidding about wanting to be your friend. Spend 30 minutes with her and you’ll want to tell her all your secrets; it’s so comfortable to be in her presence. It made this film easy to create and is part of what makes her a great photographer.

I was especially in awe of her skill in posing couples together, and posing women to capture them in their most gorgeous light.  She is so skilled in this aspect of photography; it’s when she begins to shine and why it’s so comfortable to work with her.  You know you’re in good hands.

Amber also left the kindest review for us on Google.  I want to share it because the feelings that she shares are so common.  We’re all afraid to get in front of the camera.  At MotionWorks, we work really hard to make the process as easy as possible so that your story can be shared with your clients!

“Let me start by saying that I chose photography as my profession because I am much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of that. In fact, I had quite a bit of anxiety in the days leading up to the filming of the promo reel Rebecca and I worked on earlier this year. I knew that this was something I NEEDED for my business but I was nervous about the way I looked, the way I sounded (I had the flu during filming) and mostly about whether or not my vision for this promo would come across or get lost. Rebecca nailed it! From the moment I started the journey with her, Rebecca reassured me at every step and took the time to not only listen to me, but she made me an active participant in the entire process. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for an amazing filmmaker with a talent for pulling the very best out of people.”
